The bioavailability and pharmacokinetic profiles of ibuprofen and paracetamol taken as this product are not altered when taken in combination as a single or repeat dose. By combining the two active ingredients, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen, Nuromol Tablet can be considered an alternative to codeine-based analgesics for short-term management of moderate pain in patients unable to take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol or any other ingredient of the product, aspirin or other related painkillers. Consult a doctor if the symptoms persist or worsen or if the product is required for more than 3 days. Do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. Symptoms of paracetamol overdose in the first 24 hours include pallor, nausea, vomiting, anorexia and abdominal pain. Liver damage may become apparent 12 to 48 hours after ingestion as liver function tests become abnormal. Abnormalities of glucose metabolism and metabolic acidosis may occur. In severe poisoning, hepatic failure may progress to encephalopathy, haemorrhage, hypoglycaemia, cerebral oedema and death. Acute renal failure with acute tubular necrosis, strongly suggested by loin pain, haematuria and proteinuria, may develop even in the absence of severe liver damage. Symptoms of taking too much Nuromol can include nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, and headache, ringing in the ears, confusion and shaky eye movement. High doses can cause drowsiness, chest pain, palpitations, and loss of consciousness, convulsions, weakness and dizziness, blood in urine, cold body feeling, and breathing problems have been reported. Undesirable effects may be minimised by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms (see Section 4.2, and gastrointestinal and cardiovascular risks below) and by patients taking the dose with food (see Section 4.2).
