Despite Studio Series' prominently featured numbering system, there are several numbers missing from the line, as of writing these being: 86-18 and 94. Additionally, 79, 86-13, 86-20, 86-24, 95, 96, and 102 are missing, but are assigned to the Buzzworthy Bumblebee version of the line, though it is unclear if there are any plans for them to be released in the regular Studio Series line as well. 74 Revenge of the Fallen Bumblebee is the only set so far to be re-released in the regular line after debuting in Buzzworthy Bumblebee. Everything beyond wave 38 You’ve probably heard the buzz, but Bumblebee is kind of a big deal. And now the bodacious bot is making his mark with a line of some of the most buzz...He is too small for a Voyager. I think Deluxe Plus would be a better description. His transformation difficulty is high and very much reminiscent of actual MP figures. He is actually more difficult to transform than the simplest MP figures. He even has the twisting arm action from the movie incorporated into the transformation. Hot Rod is ER OP level good...which is scary at the "Deluxe" size. So not only i sanded the flat side, i also have to sand the sides to make it as round as i can. It is already sanded on that pic, but you can see it is still not perfectly round. This figure convinced me that I made the right choice in switching to a chug style for my movie figures. I would never have all of these in MP form and be as happy with them. These display so nicely and they're actually fun to take off the shelf, transform and play with. And they are a fraction of the cost. Matrix comparisons: Each Matrix here is different from each other, so you can't actually confuse them. Upper left is Hot Rod. Upper right is ER OP (less intense clear blue than Hot Rod). Lower left is AU OP (blue painted over smoke). Lower right is Netflix OP (smoke). Junkion Scrapheap and Buzzworthy Bumblebee Ironhide both use the 86-24 number, the first time the same number has been used for different characters between the two lines.
