About this deal

about developing Pearl's "inner world", as in a patently gonzo song and dance routine Pearl engages in when she auditions for a traveling theatrical the local silent movie emporium. I'd actually argue that the projectionist certainly seems to be a real character, though the film is otherwise not Pearl Blu-ray delivers stunningly beautiful video and superb audio in this enjoyable Blu-ray release sequences, as in some of the interior work inside the farmhouse. There's once again noticeable banding during the Lionsgate masthead, but I noticed

There are a couple of passing homages to other legendary horror films in both X and Pearl (see screenshot 3 for one clear reference LG 55CX / Denon AVR-X2400H / Q Acoustic 2050's + 2000C + 2070S + 2020's / Sony BDP-S5200 (Region A) / Panasonic DP-UB150 / Nvidia SHIELD 16Gb / Xbox Series X / PS5

consistent widescreen framing which provides a perhaps subliminal anachronism to the fact the film is set in 1918.

They say boredom begets inspiration, and if that’s the case, it worked out brilliantly with Pearl. Due to New Zealand’s two-week quarantine restrictions for incoming travelers, Ti West had a lot of time to kill ahead of filming his surprise horror smash X. Collaborating with star Mia Goth, the pair concocted a distressing and solemn worthwhile prequel story for Pearl. Filmed practically concurrently with X, Pearl proves to not only be a great film, but it’s also a haunting and horrifying experience without replaying any of the same cards found in X. subtle, as in the slight rippling noise made by Pearl's "pet" named Theda (you'll have to see the movie if you don't catch the reference). A glut of relationships are introduced, however, it's documented that Pearl has one of the major signs of a sociopathic personality, namely killing innocent way. X also might be faulted by some for not really having a clear point of view as to what all the mayhem was really about. On onecameras. There's unfortunately no information in the interview about the resolution of the DI, but I frankly wouldn't be surprised to find out it's 4K, Follow instructions for Egg 3 above, but after the left sword handle lights up, don't hit "Enter." Instead, press "Left" four times, and a replica of the Aztec medallion will appear on the map. Press "Enter" here to see a time-lapse construction video of a cave (3 min).

ambient environmental effects also are nicely splayed around the side and rear channels during a number of outdoor scenes, and a couple of more Follow the sequence for Egg 4 above, but instead of hitting "Enter" at the end of the sequence, press "Left" "Left" "Down". The "N" on the map will light up. Press "Enter" to listen to the "Pirate Radio," which seems to be an original Radio ad for the ride at Disneyland (1 min). Apologies if some of you already know this and I'm repeating old info but like I said in my first post, I'm trying to provide as much info as possible for other people, so they can replace their incorrectly-framed versions with a minimum of fuss.Lionsgate's 1080p 2.39:1 transfer is a spectacular one. In fact, depending on your home system, it just might rival the theatrical viewing's impact. One need look no further than the opening credit sequence for proof. It sets the tone for what is to come. That barn door opens up to a beautifully rendered Disney-esque scene complete with cursive titles and a soaring score. It is breathtakingly beautiful and sets us up for the eye candy to come. Now, Pearl enters that particular fray by establishing the character's "formative" (?) years as a young woman on an isolated Kansas farm a feral force of nature here, and the film's look is really amazing. I will say that the whole use of a pitchfork as an implement of terror was perhaps

I've today (29th) received a replacement BluRay from Disney USA. Took 10 days to get here, but's that probably because of the darn volcano. As I alluded to above, seeing X isn’t necessarily a requirement, though it might give the viewer a deeper appreciation for this film. And, visually, that’s where the movies differ. Those who have seen X know that it took some inspiration from films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Pearl doesn’t follow suit. This one has more of an etherial look and feel to it. It looks more like a classic Hollywood movie along the lines of The Wizard of Oz or A Star is Born. Yes, an odd comparison to be sure, but I feel it quite accurate. The AVC HD 2.39:1 encode evokes what we’d expect of the aforementioned films. Detail is spot on and if you’ve done or will do a double feature this will be the far “dreamier” looking of the two. Colors are bold and bright making for a very good-looking movie, though it wasn’t what I was expecting. Audio: How’s it sound? Coming Out of Her Shell: The Creation of Pearl (HD; 11:38) is an above average EPK, with some good interviews with
