The roller-coaster plot and outstanding art are the cherry on top.

Después de enamorarme perdidamente de los personajes de The untamed (en Netflix), encontré la adaptación a cómic y me está gustando mucho. Hay cosas mejor y más explicadas y, en general, tiene un tono más ligero i divertido: las escenas de Lan Zhan borracho (dibujadas en chibi) son lo más. But no, the manhua mostly throws around names of sects, characters and such... but none of them matter, wasting memory on them is an exercise in futility as most of them will be forgotten by the author after a few chapters.A momentos ha sido chistoso, me gusta cuando ponen a los personajes en chibi. El protagonista muestra mucho potencial. Overall it's a great read, with beautiful art, and rememberable characters and I can't recommend it enough. Surprisingly, this first volume doesn’t even make it as far as the Ghost General appearing. They did leave it off in a good spot, but was just surprised they didn’t push it out further. This manga does have some romance themes, but from what I've seen so far they are never actualized and instead stay themes. Though if the thought of a fulfilling epic romance between two men makes you uncomfortable this is not the manga for you.

Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan have immortalized their respective characters, and without their portrayal, I can’t even imagine Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian.Every character beyond the 2 MC's is mostly an afterthought that has one goal - show off how cool the MCs are in comparison. If the only tag this had was Boys Love I would probably rate it an.. 8(not too sure, since I would likely not even start it if tags were not so misleading) but as is - 6 is honestly being generous. All 260 chapters of stories are a romantic buildup with something that one would usually call 'filler episodes' taking up majority of the chapters.

The Living Dead is the first spin-off movie of The Untamed that tells the journey of Wen Ning and Lan Sizhui. Next, you can either read the novel or listen to the audio-drama as their stories are the same. After this, the next step is a deep dive into the world of MDZS fanfics, but that is a talk for another day. 7. Lan Zhan, the second protagonist, has incredible depth and it's impossible not to admire how much time was spent creating such an endearing badass that actually deserves all the praise he gets inside the story. As Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji seek to unravel the mystery behind the demonic arm, they face both enemies and friends of old, and its link to Wei Wuxian's downfall all those years ago.
