Authoritarian management; this combination scores high on the production level and the efficiency and scores low on the concern of the people. It is basically task oriented and insists on the quality of the decision over the wishes of the middle level managers and subordinates. In this level the subordinates perform the assigned tasks and in some cases they may be unable or unwilling to put extra effort as long as they achieve the set limits. The division of labor approach should be used to ensure there is responsibility when it comes to accountability in the organization. The willingness and the unwillingness of the subordinates to accept responsibility is considered in decision making. Organizational behaviour offers several ideas to management as to how human factor should be properly emphasized to achieve organizational objectives. Organizational behaviour provides opportunity to management to analyze human behaviour and prescribe means for shaping it to a particular direction. Organizational behaviour helps to analyze ‘why’ and ‘how’ an individual behaves in a particular way Assumptions; they are unwritten culture but the stakeholders tend to follow them in the organisation e.g. interpersonal relations. Moving companies, changing industries, sectors or roles wouldn’t be feared, but embraced. It would provide employees with the opportunity to diversify their skills, enable them to demonstrate their adaptability, flexibility and ambition, while rewarding them with learning. Employers too wouldn’t fear the hiring process, since it gives them the ability to scale and adapt to technological and market changes. Technology underpins this seismic shift – we’re already seen Uber transform transport and Airbnb holidays; now we need to see how technology and training can be used to find, hire and ultimately keep teaching employees throughout their careers – whether that be a permanent or temporary position. This theory describes three components in deciding the leadership style; The work of society is accomplished largely through organizations, and the role of management is to see to it that organizations perform this work. Without it, the wheels of society would soon grind to a halt. What Is Organizational Behavior? Organization design. Putting together these factors—individuals and groups and tasks—is the subject of organization design.
