I love chocolate, but I'm not really a lover of Chocolate flavoured products at all. I remember this brand as a child. Crawfords make a large range of quality biscuits, I had no idea that they have been in the business for over 200 years. Sometime, just like Ian another reviewer like to pull the biscuit apart to enjoy the lovely chocolatey filling, it's wonderful. Other times I just dunk them into a cup of hot tea and enjoy the beautiful flavour of these bourbons. In the UK, we used to always have the large tin, I always went for the bourbons, then custard creams then the pink wafer. You really can't beat them, not overly sweet, just right to compliment the filling perfectly. When we lived in UK every house I went to had these biscuits in their tin.This is something so great as a brand.the chocolate cream in the middle is delicious and very very tasty.I higly recommend them any time of the day.Crawfords Bourbon Creams are very good. Their biscuits have always been a frim favourite in our house and I remember them from my childhood. Then biscuits were more of a luxury and definitely not an every day thing, well in our house anyway. They have a wonderfully rich creamy filling with a lovely vanilla flavour sandwiched between 2 crunchy biscuits. A perfect balance, not too sweet and the biscuit isn't too hard either. I always mention the sweetness as some can be too sweet, which overpowers the flavour and all you can taste it the sugar. I have tried others, but these are still my brand of choice.
