About this deal

Then add titanium whiteto your not rinsed brush. Continue to paint short little strokes as you work your way up the moon. The yellow should get lighter as you go up. While discussing group activities, I would like to share my ghost story collaboration tessellation project (reviewing story elements). This is one of those projects that looks complicated (and is a mouthful to say) but is so easy for you as the educator. I have done everything possible to make this easy for you and fun for your students—I have even included a teaching video. Another small detail I did was draw pupils in the yellow glowing eyes in the tree. And used an orange paint pen to paint little fall leaves on some of the branches (you’ll see that in the next photo). A great beginner Halloween painting idea and fun kids Halloween idea is to dip plastic forks in acrylic paint and stamp them onto paper.

For step three, place a few drops of glue down onto the pumpkin and then add the pieces of tissue paper. Cover the entire pumpkin going over the edges with the tissue paper. Be sure to let pieces overlap, so you create new shades of yellow, orange, and red. Then as you work your way to the top, the main trunk should get smaller and then branch off into smaller branches. I also made a tree branch go horizontally under the moon where the owl will be sitting. Next add a little bit of dioxazine purpleto your not rinsed brush with the white on it.Gently blend the purple into the white so that it becomes a light purple. Continue to paint in circles around the moon.I also added a little bit of white to my brush with the deep violet to get a few white streaks in that area. The white also helps with the blending. Go all the way to the edge of the canvas with the deep violet.

Once windows and doors were glued on and other decorations were added, we opened the bag and filled it with shredded paper. Then I did some more yellow strokes here and there to create some texture in the moon. 7. Draw The Ground & Tree With White Chalk Halloween is a perfect opportunity to line your sidewalks with monstrous luminaria with a simple Halloween craft idea. You will need white or natural paper bags and candles (or LED lights). You can get various colors of paint at most craft stores that will allow you to customize your glassware, most of which can be set in an oven in lieu of a kiln. But what types of painting do you want? Do you want the classic kind that you can hang up? If so, there are many Halloween-themed ideas you can paint. Or perhaps you are in the market for something different? Maybe you don’t want to carve pumpkins and instead want to paint them. Perhaps you need something more unique and creative? If so, you can always go for a different medium to paint on like paper plates. Finally, put glue over the top of the tissue-papered pumpkin and “paint” the glue on top to create a consistent layer over the pumpkin—this is sort of like using modge-podge. A fun upcycling Halloween painting idea is to take boring thrift store paintings of prints and add monsters, ghouls and other creatures to otherwise peaceful landscapes and still lifes. If there is any white chalk showing through, you can wait for the painting to dry and then use a wet paint brush to erase the chalk. (I did this later on) You can do small accents like ghosts or pumpkins on cheeks or foreheads or create a whole painted face. via Canva 6. Upcycled Halloween Décor

Repaint Munch’s "The Scream" or Van Gogh’s "Starry Night" with a Halloween twist. They are also great Halloween paintings on canvas to hang during the season. via Classpop! Scary Halloween Painting Ideas 18. Create Ghostly Spirit Photographs You can get printable tattoo paper from most craft stores and online retailers. Just create some great Halloween and horror-inspired designs and print them out for some seasonal fun that lasts around three to five days. This also makes a great art idea for teens. 27. Capture Fairy Skeletons in A Jar Note: Here is where I used a wet paint brush to erase excess chalk lines still showing. 10. Paint The Ghosts

Looking for something different

This project is very easy for the teacher and allows all the kids in your class to be involved. This poster is a product available in my TPT store. In this project, the kids will color the pieces, cut them out, add their faces to the windows (which makes it extra fun), and then put the poster together and hang it up! This makes for a great classroom cooperative activity. There are 30 places to add kid faces, but if you don’t have that many students (hallelujah !!!), Have the kids color the blank windows yellow. Step #4: Fire the kiln fire clay. Do so after letting the pieces dry to leather hard. Or let the air-dry clay dry per instructions on the container. The great part about these coloring sheets is that no two will ever be the same. There is an endless number of combinations students can create with my coloring sheets. Writing prompts are included with these sheets to help align them to the common core and provide students more time to practice writing.

To really get that spooky effect, try making the edges of the branches kind of wavy and the tips of the branches pointed. There is no shortage of ways that you can take Halloween decorating. A fun way to go about it is with paintings. This gives you more creative room to stretch your skills or show off your personality in various ways. You can go the more traditional route for the season, painting adorable and festive pumpkins. Alternatively, you can also veer toward the spooky side of things with ghosts, bats, etc. To paint the moon, I used a #12 bright brushand primary yellow.Start at the bottom of the moon and paint short little strokes (and strokes outlining the bottom edge of the circle). While a floral Thomas Kincaid landscape painting may not be what you need, a Kinkaid with Godzilla stomping through the brush may be the perfect solution. For the owl, I used an orange paint pen to draw two donut shaped circles. In the center of the circle, I did two white dots. 12. Draw Faces On Pumpkins & More Details On Owl Then I painted the owl. Paint a larger circle on the bottom for its body and a smaller circle overlapping it on the top for the head. Bring a classic touch to your décor with this charming ghost art. The ghosts are adorably on a date paired with a candle-lit dinner of sorts. You can pair this painting with any frame of your choosing to really sell the vintage theme of the artwork.
