About this deal

I've read all the previous books in this series and have adored them, Immortal Nights and the previous book, Runaway Vampire, just didn't seem get me like the other books in the Argeneau and Rouge Hunter series. Which is a shame as I loved the Notte twins when they have appeared as secondary characters in other books.

So I've finally read Immortal Nights which is the twin of the prior book. If you've read the series then you know that you wanted to know more about these twins. Throughout the series whenever they are in a book they are a complete mystery. Yes, you know who they are, but since they didn't really talk much you did really get the feel for them. Allah did not give me a better one than her. She was the mother of my children and the light of the house. She believed in me when others denied me. She supported me with her wealth when people deprived me. I had my children through her, but l was deprived of having them from others (wives). 2 There are various narrations regarding the particular Night. The Qur'an did not mention any specific night, so as to encourage prayer and worship throughout the month. Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (‘a) questioned about the Night of Qadr said:Not enough humor to make up for the plot. There is a bit but not the constant that some of the older books had. For me, humor can make up for a so/so plot, this one just didn't do it. death. Darkness mimics Hades, and at night, the dead may visit the living. Just as the grieving Achilles finally drifts off to sleep on the beach of Ilion, Patroklos visits him in a dream. He begs Achilles to release him from his purgatory. Night is associated indirectly with Sleep and Dream, for without her they could not exist. Sleep and Dream, through Night, facilitate man’s journey through life and into death. Dream, springing from dark unconsciousness, often brings the unknown to light. Only through Dream does Achilles learn of the condition of Patroklos’ soul, and Dream often conveys prophecies or messages from the gods. Sleep (who is protected by the goddess Night) mimics death, and one day is symbolic of a lifespan. Night herself brings daily renewal to weary mortals, helping them live as well as die. kinsmen "much lamenting, as if he went to his death," (XXIV, 328) journeys through the darkness to the Greek camp to negotiate with Achilles. Hermes, who also escorts souls to the Underworld, descends to escort the Trojan king, but not without first questioning his audacity. "Where... are you thus guiding your mules and horses through the immortal night while the other mortals are sleeping?" (XXXIV, 363-364) Like Achilles, Priam dares fate. His challenge to the destiny of his "ill-starred son" is mirrored in his challenge to Night. He braves even death, the boundary which Night represents, by going through his own metaphorical death and descent into Hades. He refuses to passively accept his circumstances. He will not be confined to day, just as Achilles realizes that he cannot be confined to conventions, he must act as he sees fit. The same year on 2nd Ramadhan the history of faith and righteousness took a new turn when a few hundred Muslims defeated a vastly superior force of Meccan pagans at a place called Badr. It was the first armed encounter the new found Islamic State had to face and by the Grace of the Almighty, it came out with flying colours. Which is why at the time I couldn't wait for their books. So of course did I read it? No. But now I have read them both and I'm so glad. I love Tomasso. He is such a wonderful hero in this book. When you first meet Abby you feel for her. She's been through so much and it seems isn't done yet. It's wonderful that after losing her mom that she could find someone to share her life with. Tomasso is just what she needs. I was also intrigued by her friend Jet and can't wait to see what more is going to happen in his life.

I received this ARC copy of Immortal Nights from Harper Collins - Avon in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication September 20, 2016. the Grand Night is helter than a thousand months. The Angels and the Spirit descend therein by the permission of their Lord for (decreeing) every affair. Peace! it is till the breaking of the dawn."(Holy Quran, 97:3, 97:4, 97:5) Well I have read every one of these Argeneau books and have loved them all, some much more than others to tell the truth. Umm-ul-Momineen Khadija (s.a) needs no introduction to Muslims. She married Muhammad (s) years before the start of his divine mission and at once believed in him when he was appointed to the Prophet Hood by the Almighty. Thereafter, she sacrificed her fabulous wealth for the propagation of Islam, and stood by her noble husband in all difficulties. They made an excellent husband and wife pair for 27 odd years and as long as she was alive, he never took another wife.In the beginning Lynsay (I feel we're on a first name basis since I've been reading her vampire romances since they first came out) wrote some cute and delightful romances that involved vampires and would make me laugh out loud. I couldn't eat or drink while reading them because I knew - just KNEW - at some point I would laugh until a pig snort came out. Then she left that part of the series and went towards the vampire enforcers. Now suddenly they have a cookie cutter plot and books are churned out every 6 months or so. Take this book for example. I felt that the book took to much time getting started, the stranded on a beach chapters should of been shorter, in my opinion. I started to enjoy the book more when they made it to the resort and Tomasso turned her, just in time for his brother to turn up.
