Reflection Man opens with a collection of herbs and spices with minty nuances from the rosemary, which is fresh and tantalizing. In amongst these notes, we also have petitgrain, which is not very commonly used but is a gorgeous citrus note. This comes from leaves and branches so it has a drier, more aromatic scent compared to other citrus notes. Interlude Man is an oriental woody fragrance made by Pierre Negrin and launched in 2012. Frankincense and myrrh are often added into fragrances to symbolize spiritualism and here, the perfumers sought to make this feel more contemporary by adding in spices and citrus notes. Dia Man opens with a blend of spices and fresh notes, creating a somewhat subtle, but strong and confident scent. With strong, I don’t necessarily mean the scent itself, as this is one of the softer-smelling Amouage colognes, but the scent itself just smells powerful and masculine.

This is a leather fragrance released in 2010 and made by Karine Vinchon Spehner. It’s comprised of spices, herbs, and a combination of rich, oriental base notes, making for a unique and interesting scent. This is a fresh spicy and woody cologne that radiates sophistication making it a must-try for all fragrance lovers. Overall, this is intense – it’s long-lasting and will certainly make its way through all the winter and fall temperatures to dazzle those around you. Made by Daniel Visetin and launched in 2008, Lyric Man is nowadays seen as one of the best masculine rose colognes. Base Notes: Agarwood (Oud), Incense, Leather, Castoreum, Patchouli, Cedar, Sandalwood, Styrax and Musk. From here, the cologne takes a warmer and denser turn. The smoky note of incense starts to appear, together with even more sweet resinous notes. These provide the scent with a lot of depth without overtaking any of the sweets and spices.

This is like that girl you didn't think you would be digging, and the more you talk to her, the more she intrigues you. The personality, the depth, the slight attraction. & even after all that, you still aren't sure. I wasnt sure if I liked this scent when I first smelled it. I think, I still may not be sure but the more I smell it, the more I want to like it.

Myths Man smells high quality/expensive, conservative and serious: I'd recommend it for undertakers, bankers, diplomats, heart surgeons and psychologists...it will not distract from the seriousness of your mission and presentation. Funny to say, but I'm more of a Myths Woman kinda guy whose missions and presentations strive to be fun and witty, even when the subject is weighty. The base notes provide an earthy, warm and incredibly rich foundation for this beautifully complex scent. The incense is rich with an underlying smokiness and blends with the woody notes perfectly. The tonka bean is warm and spicy, continuing the spiciness throughout the entire cologne. During the dry down, we also feel the presence of the musk, which is powdery and textured, which really rounds off the scent. Sunshine Man is a fresh and aromatic fragrance that does its name justice. With many fresh, crisp, and aromatic notes, you get something refreshing and exciting. This cologne was released in 2015 and is one of the few Amouage fragrances that’s actually suited towards the warmer weather. The dry down is dominated by the ash, which is intensely smoky and aromatic with almost woody undertones. It’s an uncommon fragrance note yet it radiates strength and intensity; it takes over and darkens the whole cologne. Acting as a support, we can also feel the note of leather as well, which is also rich and warm. Overall, this is warm and spicy with prominent woody notes, and with the addition of the florals, it’s perfect for the spring and fall months. You can wear this during the day or evening and for any occasion making it suitable for office wear, a formal evening out, or for a relaxed day at home.
