She pointed to a row of books on Thomas Edison—just the man I was looking for—and before I could turn to thank her, she was gone. This book, like its predecessor, can be your guide-- a beacon in the darkness, a safe haven in a storm, a warm hug in the cold and a respite from loneliness. This book taught me the side-affects of a relationship going for the worst, and taught me to now let anything get in my way of my relationships, with friends or with a special somebody, if it was just a fight, over the last cookie, or what movie we should see. It will act as a best friend, keep you company, motivate you, and reassure you that other teenagers have been through the same ups and downs and have come out okay.

I liked this book because the majority of stories and poems are written by teenagers that have dealt with these situations. Years later he told me that despite my braces, my skinny legs and my flipped hair, he thought I was beautiful. Canfield married Judith Ohlbaum in 1971 (divorced, November 1976); he married Georgia Lee Noble on September 9, 1978 (divorced, December 1999); he married Inga Marie Mahoney on July 4, 2001; children: (first marriage) Oran, David, Kyle, Dania; (second marriage) Christopher Noble. Also my boyfriend told me that if I don't stop reading it he will break up with me so now I don't have boyfriend.

Like a good friend, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul will be there for you when you need someone and cheer you up when you're down. Also, many of them are unrealistic; they seem to go on and on about how everything has a happy ending. In 2006, he appeared in the DVD, "The Secret," and shared his insights on the Law of Attraction and tips for achieving success in personal and professional life.

I wish I could say there was a happy ending to the story, that I begged Darcy to take me back and she did, but it didn’t happen. Because they span across so many topics now, with different authors and different ages and backgrounds you never truly know what you're going to get.

I would think, If only I could have a girlfriend like Susie Summers, I’d never even look at another female. I rate this book a five because you get any feeling out of this book and it drags you in and the storys are real so you know that the thing in the book is real and can happen to anyone. I love romance books and I love teenage books because it always shows me what will happen in high school and what to watch out for,I chose this book because my favorite author wrote this book : Jack Canfield. The “Chicken Soup” books were written to bring comfort (as actual chicken soup does) to different age groups and share the experiences of ordinary people to help readers to see that they are not alone in what they are dealing with. I defiantly underestimated how good anthologies are as they are short stories put in a collection, which are usually categorised.

After reading the book I had learned so many things and even mentally reinforced some of the morals that I was already accustomed to. So I went over and stole the book and started reading (and then she bit me and now every full sun I turn into a dove) and it was missing pages 226-229 so I don't know what happened to that girl who got hit by a car. I was raised as a Christian and though I did have some questions/challenges as a teenager, I was not the firm agnostic/atheist back then that I am today. Some stories that I really enjoyed were: Losing the "Us", The Gossiper, My New Best Friend, First Love, The Dance, If I Knew, Reaching out to a Stranger, The Champ, The Home Run, The Leader, and I Am Home.It lets you know you aren't alone in this time of your life when it comes to the most complicated things for so many teens- falling in love and the soul of loving your friends and making/keeping them. By the summer after tenth grade, Mike and I had spent more time together—in the company of his girlfriend, also known as my best friend, and others.

You realize that some teenagers go through tough stuff and sometimes they weren't sure how to deal with it. This new volume contains important lessons on the nature of friendship and love, the importance of belief in the future, the value of respect for oneself and others, and more. It depicts the natural growth of a relationship and always explains what an unhealthy relationship is.
