The Vipers have no idea what they want to do with Roxy at first, but one of them, Diesel, the unhinged one who carries a fanny pack with explosives and other things, finds her fascinating. Its offset by the brilliant characterisation which makes this so much more than just some hot words on paper. all that happens is this group of pervy tough guys kidnaps a girl (for absolutely no reason) and they hate her at first but she has sex with all of them so they like her by the end of the book. Now, another part of this story I did not see coming was the surprise twist of the plot involving the bigger, more brute character Garret. Garrett doesn't appreciate being hit in the package with a bat but it was a running joke that made me giggle 😂 oh and a big 🍆"Yes baby"Kenzo 😍 sweet sweet Kenzo.

So, I suppose the "vibe" here is one of absurd, over-the-top violence and sex: heads smashed with baseball bats beyond recognition. I’ve met people from all over the country and have never, not ever met anyone whose accent sounds like anyone in this book!Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. Kenzo also is a master at games and runs several illegal casino’s, he can also can throw down when needed. The Vipers, Ryder, Kenzo, Diesel, and Garrett, never expect that fierce kick-butt Roxy will fight back at them at every turn.

Storyline/My Thoughts: I’m going to admit, too, that this book was not a favorite, but I did like some aspects of it. I've been reading and reviewing books on my blog since leaving the Navy in 2011, and I will keep doing it as long as possible. Also the scenes were very disturbing and I don’t usually get triggered from shit but I was very triggered from this. But when a feisty little girl comes crashing into their life, their brutal cold facades break little by little. From the outside looking in he appears useless because they’ve made him like the ‘face’ of the group. She’s used to having to defend herself and can bring down a man that is easily two or three times her size, and despite her upbringing, she is a fighter.
