About this deal

This provides a forward-thinking solution to the annoyingly common problem of clogged-up tubeless valves. We have now developed several other unique products following the same process and use the initial product runs to gauge market interest. I trust it so much now i’ve stopped looking to see if it’s still there at the bottom of every bumpy downhill. Building on previous versions that have been used by world, Olympic, and Ironman champions the latest 3.

Seriously though having to remove the contents of your bag to get to the tube or tool that has inevitably worked its way to the bottom is a pain, especially added to the stress of having a puncture or a mechanical. it has a small inner pocket for tyre patches or similar and comes with a stabilising strap for extra security, i’ve never used it but you’d might want to if mounting to a downhill/enduro bike maybe? In these days of tubeless tyres for bicycles and how efficient they are at stopping puncures it’s easy to forget that you you might at some point on a ride need to put an inner tube into the tyre. The in-house industrial 3D printing capability and capacity will add value to the business with the control that it brings, but one single manufacturing process will never meet all of the company’s manufacturing requirements. However I also had a issue when after hitting a pothold the tyre shifted and wouldn't re seal, maybe the tyre pressure was too low, but I don't think this should happen in any case. Lucky for me, 76 Projects has a unique sticky mount option, allowing me to place the Micro Piggy anywhere it fits on my frame. Includes silicone band for organising your tools and making quick switches of tools between Piggy equipped bikes.

the zip and bag is made of hard wearing and waterproof material and despite many soakings, mud and jet washes it’s remained dry inside. If you're forever finding yourself stuck with clogged-up tubeless valves, or you're just looking into setting up your bike with tubeless tyres, these valves are ideal. Standard widths 60mm to 100mm (TT Race mount)/65mm to 105mm (TT Modular mount), 50-90mm (TT Mount 3.Clip' modules available for GoPro, Exposure Trace, band-on lights (universal), and blank cover supplied as standard. The Micro Piggy proved to be a nice addition for local gravel rides around my home town of Dawson Creek, where a frame bag wasn't really that necessary.

With versatile mounting placement and its low weight (22g), it's a useful addition to the bike for carrying items. I used it to carry a spare inner tube and snacks—something that we hungry cyclists never seem to have enough space for. An added bonus of the Hi Flow design is that airflow through the valve increases significantly, making pumping up your tyres more efficient; this was noticeably easier even when using a standard hand pump. They are industrial designers with over 40 years experience between them, they also love cycling and bikes of all types, n+1 is an equation that is familiar to us! The Velcro was easy to open and it took seconds to remove the tool and not much more time to replace it.When it happens to me it’s usually because I’ve forgotten to check that there is still enough sealant in the tyre. I prefer the first option, and always seat a tyre without sealant in it first to prevent having to deal with the mess that can cause if the tyre doesn't seat easily.
