About this deal

Noctua was founded in 2005 and has gone on to become synonymous with producing top-tier cooling solutions. Its smooth-running, the SSO2 bearing and the proven premium quality from Noctua make it a first-class choice for the highest demands.

While many fans produce unpleasant, high-pitched noises when installed in typical applications such as on heatsinks or radiators, the NF-A12x25 has been carefully fine-tuned for optimal on-application acoustics. The NF-A12x25’s impeller is made from Noctua’s novel Sterrox® liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) compound that features extreme tensile strength, an exceptionally low thermal expansion coefficient and damping characteristics that are ideal for reducing resonance and vibration phenomena in advanced fan-blade designs.

Noctua fans are known for their excellent running smoothness, performance and excellent quality and have received several awards.

It takes state-of-the-art technologies such as the AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame or Flow Acceleration Channels and combines them with a record tight tip clearance of only 0.The Noctua Inlet Side Spacers for Noctua 140mm Fans is an inlet spacer kit for the Noctua 140mm fans. You Get What You Pay For Up until now I have never used cheap fans and I have never used fans from the upper end of the market. In summary, these are excellent fans, which do the job asked of them to a very high standard, all whilst remaining extremely quiet, and leaving you with a nice little handful of spares to use elsewhere in your PC build. One irritation was installing them - the fan has eight soft rubber corners fitted to it - be aware that the buggers can fall off when trying to pull the very clever soft rubber connectors through (no screws) to fit the fan.

With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency. Integrated Anti-Vibration Pads made from extra-soft silicone minimise the transmission of minute vibrations while maintaining full compatibility with all standard mounting systems and fan clips used on heatsinks. Custom designed for the new Focused Flow frame and to work in tandem with the eleven stator guide vanes, the NF-F12's seven blade Heptaperf impeller has been carefully optimised to achieve a perfect balance between power and quietness. They say it's incredibly quiet, completely inaudible at low speed, and has a variety of accessories for low noise applications. It utilises Noctua’s state-of-the-art Smooth Commutation Drive technology and reference class SSO2 bearing, ensuring a remarkable performance.

the colour scheme leave a bit to be desired however I've grown to like it, before it annoyed me but now it feels prestigious. Equipment is becoming more frequently exposed to the elements as more facets of daily life digitize or become automated. The NF-F12’s stator guide vanes are set out in Varying Angular Distance and feature Vortex-Control Notches.

The Noctua fan is an exceptional choice for your MiSTer FPGA, offering outstanding running smoothness and long-term reliability. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!

At the same time, a wide range of advanced aerodynamic design measures, second generation SSO-Bearing and Noctua’s new, custom designed PWM IC for fully automatic control assures astounding quietness of operation. The NF-A12x25r is a round-frame version of Noctua’s award-winning flagship model 120mm NF-A12x25 fan.
