About this deal

And rather than aiming to bring all-round mascara drama like They’re Real, Roller Lash instead targets some more specific but pretty common lash laments.

Unfortunately though I did experience smudging/blobbing on my socket bone, this happens every time I wear the mascara, it isn't a lot but it still smudges or blobs and you can see it, if I wear dark make up it isn't as obvious but it is still there. First off, I have extremely dry, sensitive eyes (and eyelids) and I alternate between wearing contacts and glasses depending on my mood. One other interesting thing to note with this mascara is that the expiration date is 6 months after purchasing. I also love that it does all the above whilst still feeling about as lightweight as mascaras come (possibly because it’s not like those iron-clad waterproof varieties? You could get this early before the release date as a smaller sample size was a free gift with Elle magazine. The tube is black with a baby pink top shaped like a hair roller (not on the sample size unfortunately), with matching baby pink writing on the tube. I then start from the root of my lashes and wiggle wiggle until I get to the tips then I move onto my bottom lashes.

The only issue I ever have is a little under eye circles from my bottom lashes, but only since having to wear a mask all day at work. The brush is also curved and flexible which makes it easier to get right in to the base of the upper and lower lashes. The Benefit Roller Lash only claimed to be water resistant, although I don't even know what's that suppose to mean when it comes to mascaras. When I first applied this I felt a slight tug on my lashes which is down to the little hooks on the brush which grab even the smallest of lashes. I’m actually so impressed with this mascara and would definitely recommend getting your hands on it immediately. It definitely help keeps the curl throughout the day, I went to take an end of day pic, but they looked exactly the same, no exaggerations!

You can 'up the ante' on the volume front by adding extra coats carefully or going over with a volumising mascara - makes the lashes pop! The wand has slight curve to it and is packed with plastic bristles/spikes - longer on the top (as you may be able to see) gradually reducing in size towards the underneath - almost like rows and rows of tiny canine teeth! No doubt I really like how it curls my lashes and make them stay that way for a long period of time. The brush is made from rubber and has tiny hooks, just like the ones on hair rollers, that are designed to lift the lashes at the base and force them to curl upwards. This mascara looks right up my alley, I'll definitely be checking it out if/when it comes to Australia.
