I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books.

Although the author included some references to the events in the first book, he didn’t include enough of it. Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first.It was such a pleasure to meet you both, and I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally you ran everything.

The game portion and the investigation both ended up being wrapped up (for now) really quickly, while I found the lead up to both confrontations a bit dragged out for what we got.

I had just finished Empire of Storms, was suffering a MAJOR book hangover and just was in more of a YA mood. There are also fierce Junior Agent rivalries, while her brother Quinton’s curse is steadily worsening. My favorite part of the book was the final third of the book, and this is where I got hooked on the story, but I should have been hooked at the beginning. But I have wanted to get to this one as soon as I finished the first book and the wait was well worth it.

Amari has grown up so much since the 1st-book and she's now a fairly confident and astute young practitioner, who knows how to fight the good fight. Suddenly, Fox and Fibber find themselves on an incredible adventure in a glow-in-the-dark rainforest full of golden panthers, gobblequick trees and enchanted temples.Because it was throwing a lot of information at you from the off, and it being two years since I read book one meant it did take a little while for me to get back into things. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.
